New Century Fade-Up Vase. Inaugural piece in the New Century Collection. This square vase features an unusual blown fade-up treatment where the vase fades from French Opalescent glass up to Spruce Green. The piece is also blown into a straight rib optic and iridized satin on the outside. It has a square crimp pulled down so the inside green is visible. Handpainted with a blue floral and berry pattern. Each item in this series honors a certain segment of Fenton glass, and this one: "Blowers - Discovery". Bill Fenton signature piece and New Century backstamp. Measures approx. 7-3/4"H.
