Connoisseur Collection
- While in Oklahoma City on business, I had the chance to visit "Select
Interiors", a local Showcase dealer. She had received most of her 1999
Connoisseur items including the "Poppies" on Burmese Vase, "Bluebirds"
on Burmese basket, and the 3-PC Blue Burmese fairy lamp. She might have had
some of the other Connoisseur items stuck in the back room. So I imagine most
of the dealers should be getting their stock shortly. OK Bill, where's my order?

QVC Fenton Show - The August 7th QVC show is history. It was a good show, and fortunately I bought the Blue Burmese Pinch vase before the show was aired. That's one of the advantages of belonging to the Fenton clubs :) Some people have mentioned on the Chat board that they believe Fenton was "Over Irridizing" in that most pieces on the show were irridized and they would have bought the piece if it wasn't. Although I like most irridized pieces, sometimes it works with a particular piece of glass, and other times it doesn't.
