(Page 3) Fenton's Christmas 2000 Lineup- Last month I also was received some information on Fenton's Christmas 2000 lineup. One new item will be a penguin figurine and Fenton will have 3 handpainted versions for this year. This item, along with a new Snowman couple, will be the first pieces in Fenton's "Frosty Friends" collection of winter figurines, and were designed by Jon Saffell.

They also have some new Santa's for the collector in three new patterns. "Quilted" Santa in a patchwork hooded cape stitched with 22K gold stitches. "Americana" Santa in traditional red, white, and blue. And "Tyrolean" Santa decked out in a suit of scrolls, a folk art design popular in Austria and Germany.

The Nativity Series concludes with the final three-piece set consisting of two shepherds and a lamb. This will be the final year for this series so will only be available for this season and then retired. The set will have the "First Edition" understamp. You will be able to order the previous pieces in the series as well, but will not have the First Edition mark. Only those who started from the beginning will have that honor.

Fenton will also have the usual assortment of ornaments, bells, eggs, and Fairy lamps so be sure check back for a complete supplement upload as soon as it's received here.

Fenton's Web Site - I don't know if you've noticed, but Fenton is doing much more with their website than in the month's past. Which is good because that makes my job much easier :) So if you haven't been to Fenton's site in awhile, you need to take a look around. This month they have a new contest for a Rosalene basket with Lynn Fenton Erb's signature. They also have a nice article titled "Glassmaking 101" that gives the reader an introduction to the process of this ancient art. Although I was hoping for a little more like an actual course, along with monthly exams. Pretty hard to do though without the "Hands On" experience in the Hot Metal department. Now if we can just get the club's to actually provide Fenton information and articles on their sites, then I can retire :)

My Site - Well I didn't get the site redesign done yet that I've been wanting to do. But at least I can honestly say that much of the reason was because of the great support I have been receiving lately in the way of articles. So they take first priority, and when I have some time left, then I can work on the site. I think you can see that the site redesign will be as graphically appealing as I've tried to make the articles.
