| QVC Designer Vase - It takes a lot to get this webmaster excited about a piece of glass. I'm exposed to beautiful glass every day from items in my own collection, pictures sent to me by other collectors, and the items in Fenton's regular line plus Limited Editions. However, when Fenton rolled out this vase for their QVC Show on January 13th, they really outdid themselves. The first in the new series of collectibles for this year is this C103079 Turquoise Overlay "Designer" vase. A beautiful glass treatment with a wonderful Sea motif, highlighted with a gold glass frit netting and coral. On the back of the vase are 2 fish painted in a gold base with various other colors to highlight the fish, including enameling. A truly outstanding piece that is definitely a keeper. I've been thinking about running a "Peoples Choice" award for Best Design, Best Glass Treatment, etc., and this vase would certainly be a consideration for a nomination.
