First off, a big thanks goes to Donna Hatch for letting
me borrow her catalog for scanning. Even though this Black & White
catalog is not as nice as the beautiful color layouts in Fenton's later
catalogs, I thought it was important to present this early catalog for
educational reasons. You will notice that the original owner, most likely
a dealer, wrote in prices for some of the items in the catalog. They
are most likely wholesale prices, but even so it makes you sick to think
that a Cranberry Opalescent Hobnail pitcher & tumbler set retailed
for close to $16.00.
The dealers price list is how a dealer knew what items were
available in different colors. Since I don't have the original price
list, I will list here what colors were available in 1950 for the different
patterns:
