Other exclusive eggs seen by Joyce Stein include one in purple and
pink, green and red, dark blue and white (no other color), and a fabulous Vasa
Murrhina Barber egg in Adventurine Green.

If
finding those "One-of-a-kind" eggs is not a challenge to you, then
the wide variations in the colors and patterns of the eggs can make them almost
separate, even though they have the same catalog number. For example, the 2
eggs shown here. Although they are classified as being the same 5007 ware number
because of their predominate colors of yellow and green, you can see the egg
on the left is more yellow than green, and the one on the right more green than
yellow. Confusing, isn't it? :)
During my many years of watching for them, it seems that the most
common egg is the blue with black swirls. On the other hand, the pink or red
colored are rarest of the rare and do seem to command an even higher premium.
If the Barber Eggs are something you are thinking about collecting, don't put
all of your eggs in one basket in hopes of readily finding them. Good luck with
your egg hunt!!

Notes: On the following
pages are most of the eggs submitted for this article in thumbnail form. Clicking
on any of the thumbnails will show the full size version. In cases where I had
2 Eggs of the same catalog number but were very different, I tried to include
them. If you have any Barber Eggs that can be added to this reference, please
contact me via eMail.
