Caveat
Emptor - Let the Buyer BewareInternet Dealers
Although finding the best price on a piece of Fenton bought through an Internet dealer might be a consideration, it should NOT be used as the final consideration on who you choose to buyfrom. More importantly, find out who your dealer is and what kind of policies they have for selling. I don't think any good dealer would mind you asking questions before making a purchasing decision. Ask how long they have been in business and maybe a little background as being a Fenton dealer or collector. Do they maintain a regular store and are they Showcase dealers? What are their return policies and whether or not they have a restocking fee? Do they inspect each piece for quality before it is sent? What is their shipping policy and ask them about refunds of items lost through the mail.
Many of the Fenton dealers that I have found on the Internet are proud of their web sites and keep them well maintained. They love to chat about Fenton, and you can find some of them on the Chat Board. Get to know your Internet dealer and you should do OK in whatever Fenton purchase you decide. Although I'm not going to spend much time talking about the do's and don'ts of using a Internet Dealer, many of the rules that I will talk about in using online auctions apply to dealers as well.
