Fenton
Fanatics Animals Database Search Page
Created

You
are the ones who make Fenton collecting fun!
Note:
This is a informational database intended to help the
collector identify Fenton animal figurines. The retail price is that of the
original sale price and does
not reflect the current market value. None of these items are for sale
from Fenton Fanatics but may be available from your favorite Fenton dealer.
Also, pieces that might be considered Fenton seconds or those handpainted by
Independent artists are not included in this database.
To perform a search, enter
your search criteria in one or more of the fields, then click "Search"
to search the entire database. For example, lets say you wanted to find a particular
Burmese cat in the popular 5165 mould. First you would enter "5165" in the "Fenton Ware #"
field, then you would enter "Burmese" in the "Remarks"
field. After those two items were entered, then you would press the "Search"
button. The software would then show you all of the Burmese 5165 cats it had
in the database. If
you leave the form blank and then press the Search button, it will list
all
items in the database in a condensed format with selectable pages.
Explanation of Fields: Fenton
Ware # is
Fenton's own catalog number used for this piece, i.e. "5165 6R",
and notice the space between the ware number and color code. When doing a search,
you can enter
just partial information, like 5165 or 6R to broaden the search to a particular
mould or decoration/color code. Description is a brief description
of the item like "Cat, Stylized Aquamarine". Offering Period is
the date(s) the piece was offered for sale. You can only enter a single date
or year for the search, i.e. 1996, 2001, etc. The database is not sophisticated
enough to search on a range of dates. Remarks is a more detailed description
of the item. Here you can search by Animal such as Bear, Cat, or Penguin; or
by pattern name; even by Designer when such information was provided by Fenton
records.
